Make-Up Work

If a student is absent for a day or 2 throughout the grading period their absences will not affect their grade but the PE grade is culminate so several absences per grading period without make-up work can affect their grade. If they are absent for 5 or more days it could be the difference of one whole letter grade. The attachments are make-up work that can be done and brought into the teacher. This is NOT extra credit work to improve their grade but make-up work to “make-up” their participation points lost by their absence.

 

The student may also run with the SRLA group on Wednesday. If you run one day it will make up one absence. If you run two days it will make up two absences and so on and so on. You must download and fill out the SRLA-Running Make-Up Worksheet form. You will not be in SRLA but we will have your emergency contact info in case something happens on the run and we need to contact your parents.

 

 

• The book report will make-up 8-10 absences.
• The Olympic Movie or Sports Movie worksheet will make up 5 absences.
• The Article Review will make-up 2 absences.
• The rest are single worksheets that will make-up one absence each.
