Science Webcams and Virtual Tours
Science Webcams
A great way to learn about the natural world is through observation. Unfortunately, many of us can't travel the world to look at wildlife, volcanoes, rain forests, and other fabulous places. Luckily, we can look at webcams and observe from the comfort of our classrooms and homes. Check out some of the sites below.
Explore Live Webcams - Choose from all over the world.
BBC Nature/Wildlife Videos: Choose from hundreds of animals and watch video clips of their behavior.
CornellLab of Ornithology (the study of birds): Right now, you can view a Great Blue Heron and Red-Tailed Hawk sitting on their clutches of eggs. These are next to the BirdCams link.
Audubon Live Cams Watch live cams of birds, bears, and many other creatures. There are also great films and photos. This site is the coolest!
