Stacy Carranza is the Honorable Mention Winner in the Anne Frank "Your Story Matters" Essay Contest 2025, and received her certificate on May 12, the official Anne Frank Day in the City of Los Angeles, at the Los Angeles Central Library. When Stacy's 8th grade ELA class read the play, "The Diary of Anne Frank" by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, earlier this year, Stacy became fascinated with Anne Frank's coming-of-age story that ends in inexplicable tragedy. Both in and outside of class, Stacy demonstrated genuine empathy and compassion for those who suffer atrocities at the hands of oppressors. Webster is incredibly proud of and happy for Stacy as she proves her prowess in writing and embarks upon exciting new challenges in her future. Go, Stacy!
