Principal’s Message

I hope you have had a chance to recharge, relax, and read a good book this summer. I am honored and humbled to return to Daniel Webster as your Principal for the 2025-2026  school year. As we kick off this new academic year, I want to emphasize the importance of Attendance, Wellness, and Instruction for all students. We will continue to implement the LAUSD District Strategic Plan to ensure student success. The first day of the new school year begins on Thursday, August 14, 2025 2 8:00 am. All of us at Daniel Webster are looking forward to a successful year of learning, growth, and collaboration. Our Paxton-Patterson Lab continues to expand and will further support our STEAM curriculum. We are also excited to embrace the French Academy, continuing to offer the first on-site middle school French Dual Language Program in all of LAUSD!

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students and families! I am excited and looking forward to seeing everyone on August 14th at 8 am. It is imperative that our students arrive at school on time with a charged device every day and cell phone away for learning. We will continue hosting monthly 'Coffee with the Principal' sessions for parents, guardians, and the community, which will support collaboration and provide updates from our Every School Safe Platform. As we prepare for the upcoming school year, I want to emphasize the importance of cultivating joy and employing the best educational practices for our students’ success. Together, we will work diligently to create a safe and conducive environment for all learners.
